Playing card manufacturer Andrew Dougherty began printing Tally-Ho cards in approximately 1885. Although there have been at least a half-dozen back designs over the years, the Fan Backs and Circle Backs are the only ones to survive today. Circle Backs are are prominently featured in the Inner Secrets Trilogy, Stars of Magic, the Dai Vernon Book of Magic, and Ultimate Card Secrets. Obviously the Professor was a Tally-Ho fan. This deck is an unintentional one-way back, a fact that many magicians don't seem to be aware of.
